This research was descriptive with a mixed approach. For data analysis, descriptive statistics (frequency and relative percentage) using the computerized statistical package SPSS version 20.0 was used. A total of 2609 runners completed the proof, 67.9 por ciento male and 32.0 por ciento female, what could show greater adherence of male runners, if compared with the female group. It is noteworthy that the age group from 30-34 years old was the most representative in both sexes. It was concluded that there was presence of runners in all categories offered in Prova Rústica Tiradentes, in both sexes; thus, the proof fulfills its social role of promotion the sport of participation, and especially enabling that a greater number of people participate. | |
| 520 | 3 | |a O objetivo do estudo foi mapear o perfil etário de acordo com o sexo dos corredores participantes da 41ª Prova Rústica Tiradentes, realizada na cidade de Maringá-PR. Pesquisa do tipo descritiva e de abordagem mista. Para análise dos dados foi utilizada estatística descritiva (frequência relativa e percentual), por meio do pacote estatístico informatizado SPSS versão 20.0. Concluíram a Prova 2609 corredores, sendo 67,9 por ciento do sexo masculino, e 32,0 por ciento do sexo feminino, evidenciando maior adesão de corredores do sexo masculino na Prova. Destaca-se que a faixa etária de 30 a 34 anos é a mais representativa, em ambos os sexos. Conclui-se que houve presença de corredores em todas as categorias ofertadas na Prova Rústica Tiradentes, em ambos os sexos, sendo assim a prova cumpre com o seu papel social de promoção do esporte de participação, e, principalmente, por oportunizar a prova para um número maior de pessoas. | |
