It ́s based on the documentary fund Alicia Eguren and John William Cooke existing in the Departament of Archives of the National Library Mariano Moreno. The characteristics of the fund are also detailed together with the investigations that it has provoked, and the need of give relevance to the figure of Eguren, largely ignored by its gender condition, is highlighted. El artículo propone un recorrido biográfico de Alicia Eguren, figura fundamental de la historia del peronismo de izquierda, que da sustento a una bibliografía razonada en preparación. La misma, está basada en el fondo documental Alicia Eguren y John William Cooke existente en el Departamento de Archivos de la Biblioteca Nacional Mariano Moreno. Se detallan además las características del fondo, las investigaciones que ha suscitado, y se destaca la necesidad de dar relevancia a la figura de Eguren, en gran medida soslayada por su condición de género.
