Thus, it analyzes the importance and systematization of a wide range of heuristics, such as notarial documents, press notes and local magazines, material goods, postmortem photographs, state regulations and church documents. En la presente comunicación se propone realizar un examen de un heterogéneo corpus documental utilizado en una investigación que versa sobre las representaciones y prácticas fúnebres de la elite mendocina durante el período comprendido entre 1887 y 1935. De este modo, se analiza la importancia y la sistematización de un abanico amplio de recursos heurísticos, tales como protocolos notariales, notas de la prensa y revistas locales, bienes materiales, fotografías postmortem, normativas estatales y documentos eclesiásticos.
