| Sumario: | The aim of this work is show how the approach of a heterogeneous documentary corpus may account for the relations between music, culture and politics. For this, it was decided to divide the work into three parts. At first, shows the contributions of studies from the disciplines of musicology and cultural history. Subsequently we discussed, briefly, what they are thinking whenthere is proposed to musical culture as a concept for analysis of sources. Taking as a starting point these considerations, we made a brief tour of a potential documentary corpus to show how it is possible to investigate dimensions of musical culture through sources other than scores. The ultimate objective is to show that the musical goes beyond the ephemeral and non-transferable performance and, consequently, there are other sources to analyze the relations between music, politics and culture. |
