El presente trabajo presenta los listados de miembros de las dos primeras entidades que en Argentina se plantearon explícita y centralmente la defensa de la “clase media”: el “Movimiento de la Clase Media” y “Promoción Social de la Clase Media”, ambos de 1956. Se discute el significado político de su surgimiento en esa época, las características ideológicas de ambos agrupamientos, sus actividades y el perfil social de sus miembros.
