After a series of conceptual clarifications, this corpus is characterized from three variables: the disciplinary profiles of its authors, their geographical origin and the main themes and approaches of this production. Finally, vacancy areas are identified in research on these issues in Argentina. En este artículo se realiza una indagación inicial sobre las características de la producción académica en torno a archivos y patrimonio documental en Argentina, realizada desde distintos campos disciplinares, como historiografía, archivística, letras, antropología y ciencias políticas entre otras, a partir de un corpus de 364 trabajos. Luego de una serie de precisiones conceptuales, se caracteriza este corpus desde tres variables: los perfiles disciplinares de sus autores/as, su procedencia geográfica y las principales temáticas y abordajes de esta producción.
