We wonder about the configurations of this territory which a decade ago was the center of a conflict that became a milestone: the expulsion of the multinational. During that period, the dispute of meanings questioned the assumptions of agribusiness. Now, this periurban sector of Córdoba is crossed by different forms of intervention of the territory, typical of extractivism.  We ask ourselves about the field/city pair, going back to classic literature on social metabolism and original accumulation in Marx, as well as from some contemporary debates of the periurban area. We propose to put in tension the ways of conceiving, inhabiting and intervening in the territories, both on the part of the inhabitants themselves and on the part of the decision makers of the State and the market. The corpus of analysis is made up of documentary sources and notes from graphic media. La ciudad de Malvinas Argentinas adquirió gran trascendencia entre los años 2012-2016 a causa de la resistencia social frente a la pretensión de instalación de una planta de Monsanto. Nos preguntamos entonces por las configuraciones de este territorio que una década atrás fue centro de un conflicto que se convirtió en hito: la expulsión de la multinacional. Durante ese período, la disputa de sentidos ponía en tela de juicio los presupuestos del agronegocio.  Ahora bien, este sector del periurbano de Córdoba se encuentra atravesado por distintas formas de intervención del territorio propias del extractivismo. Nos preguntamos por el par campo/ciudad remontándonos a literatura clásica sobre el metabolismo social y la acumulación originaria en Marx, así también como desde algunos debates contemporáneos del periurbano. Nos proponemos poner en tensión las formas de concebir, habitar e intervenir los territorios, tanto por parte de los propios habitantes como de los decisores del Estado y el mercado.
