We understand that Arendt allow us to identify some dimensions of that dispute that turn out to be central to face the crisis of contemporary democracies.   Nos proponemos desarrollar una línea posible de lectura sobre la querella entre republicanismo y populismo, haciendo partícipe al pensamiento político de Hannah Arendt. A diferencia de algunas interpretaciones, que se interesan por establecer la proximidad o distancia de Arendt con una u otra posición, nosotros nos interrogamos por lo que su pensamiento político nos puede decir sobre su problemática relación. Entendemos que Arendt nos permite identificar algunas dimensiones de dicha querella que resultan centrales para abordar la crisis de las democracias contemporáneas.  Propomos desenvolver uma possível linha de leitura sobre a disputa entre republicanismo e populismo, envolvendo o pensamento político de Hannah Arendt. Diferentemente de algumas interpretações, que estão interessadas em estabelecer a proximidade ou a distância de Arendt em relação a uma ou outra posição, nós nos perguntamos o que seu pensamento político pode nos dizer sobre a relação problemática entre eles. Entendemos que Arendt nos permite identificar algumas dimensões dessa disputa que são fundamentais para lidar com a crise das democracias contemporâneas. Universidad Nacional de Córdoba.
