It particularly investigates its main demands, challenges, limitations, and its political potential. The objective is to carry out a brief updated systematization that reviews feminisms in a historical key to understand their development and interrelation between the “micro” and “macro” politics, the movement and the State. In turn, although the methodology of the “waves” metaphor for the study of feminisms is reaffirmed here, it has been carried out from a critical, Latin American and Caribbean, decolonial and intersectional perspective. That is, a chronology that is often temporally different from the hegemonic one and even around different territories and claims, marked by the constitutive specificities of the souths. El presente ensayo analiza la trayectoria y actualidad de los movimientos feministas en Argentina. Indaga particularmente en sus principales reivindicaciones, desafíos, limitaciones, y su potencialidad política. El objetivo es realizar una breve sistematización actualizada que revise los feminismos en clave histórica para comprender su desarrollo e interrelación entre la “micro” y “macro” política, el movimiento y el Estado. A su vez, si bien se reafirma aquí la metodología de la metáfora de las “olas” para el estudio de los feminismos, se ha realizado desde una perspectiva crítica, latinoamericana y caribeña, decolonial e interseccional. Esto es, una cronología muchas veces distinta temporalmente a la hegemónica e incluso en torno a diferentes territorios y reivindicaciones, signadas por las especificidades constitutivas de los sures.
