It is an exploratory study, with a qualitative approach, based on a review of specialized literature. Although integration in the Central Bi-Oceanic Corridor is a topic that involves various disciplines, the motivations for this article lie in contributing from International Relations and paradiplomacy to problematize the case and identify new questions that contribute to explaining the interactions and results, of an idea that, after 25 years, has not shown significant progress. El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo reflexionar sobre la importancia estratégica del Corredor Bioceánico Central para la Región Centro de la República Argentina, a través de tres dimensiones: su conceptualización como espacio de desarrollo, su rol en la economía mundial y el uso de la paradiplomacia como herramienta de articulación de intereses transnacionales. Es un estudio de tipo exploratorio, con abordaje cualitativo, basado en la revisión de literatura especializada. Si bien la integración en el Corredor Bioceánico Central es un tema que convoca a diversas disciplinas, las motivaciones para este artículo se encuentran en contribuir desde la Relaciones Internacionales y la Paradiplomacia a problematizar el caso e identificar nuevos interrogantes que contribuyan a explicar las interacciones y resultados, que luego de 25 años, no ha mostrado avances significativos.
