Changes introduced since June 1943, because of the tendencies of new military government, affected key foundations of power structure, on which was grounded the political control of sugar factories. Actors linked to these firms became quickly into major jujenian opposition to this administration, so-called Antiperonism. They also constructed a set of representations about the new governing interventionist policies. Such economical procedures were kept for the following Peronist government. This paper aims to determine the features of those representations and to define the conditions that made them possible for the period of Revolución Libertadora. Durante el cuarto de siglo anterior a la irrupción del peronismo, las empresas azucareras radicadas en Jujuy ejercieron fuerte injerencia en los procesos políticos de la provincia, basada en el lugar central que ocupaba la agroindustria en la estructura productiva de la provincia. El cambio de escena derivado del golpe militar de junio de 1943 trastocó fundamentos clave del esquema de poder sobre la que descansaba la gravitación política de los intereses azucareros. Los actores vinculados a los mismos, erigidos pronto en puntales del antiperonismo provincial, configuraron un conjunto de representaciones sobre las políticas intervencionistas del nuevo régimen y del subsiguiente gobierno peronista. El presente artículo se propone determinar las características de tales representaciones, de las condiciones que las hicieron posible y de las particularidades asumidas por las mismas durante la Revolución Libertadora.
