Within this scenario, some leagues disputed the monopoly of the «legitimate» representation of the hole, elaborating differents projects in order to become hegemonical. The study focuses part of this struggle, analysing strategies and projects adopted by two of these leagues: the Brazilian Rural Society and the Brazilian Cooperative Association, enphasying the latter, which became the new hegemonical force amongst brazilian agro-entrepreneurs.
