To this end, we worked on the cinematographic framing in articulation with the off-air space through the use of the soundtrack. In this article, we will describe some aesthetic decisions that we made in order to reach our goal: the search for equity between image and sound. Ante la sobreestimación de la imagen respecto al sonido en gran parte de la producción cinematográfica contemporánea, nos propusimos realizar un largometraje de ficción con el propósito de reflexionar sobre el valor discursivo y expresivo del sonido, y derribar la jerarquía que lo hace un componente subalterno de la narración. Para ello, trabajamos el encuadre cinematográfico en articulación con el espacio fuera de campo a través del uso de la banda sonora. En este artículo, daremos cuenta de las decisiones estéticas y realizativas que tomamos para alcanzar nuestro objetivo: la búsqueda de equidad entre imagen y sonido.
