These links an arc of long historical projection and within the framework of the conditions of recognition by cultural agents in the context of study will be appreciated. These connections are intended to be appreciated from a relational dimension that allows us to understand the sign systems in their permeable capacity, contextualized in a local framework that enables their own variations, syntax and meaning. In this framework, the symbolic capacity of images and artistic manifestations is the key that allows dimensioning the flow of “adaptability” –potential and latent– that they possess (Escobar, 2021). In addition, along these lines, the present reflections consider in their interpretations what was proposed by Ruiz & Triquell (2017) who are based on the material existence of all images and their great effectiveness in the dispute over the imposition of meanings when conceived as indices, understanding to these in their particular relationship with reality from the point of view of their effects and reception. El presente trabajo busca señalar hitos de conexión entre imágenes y materialidades vinculadas a los sistemas de (re)presentación andino amerindios y manifestaciones materiales, visualidades y prácticas artísticas, situadas en el espacio público de barrio Güemes en Córdoba, desde 2015 hasta el 2019. Estas vinculaciones serán apreciadas desde un arco de larga proyección histórica y en el marco de las condiciones de reconocimiento de parte de agentes culturales presentes en el contexto de estudio. Dichas conexiones pretenden ser apreciadas desde una dimensión relacional que permita comprender los sistemas sígnicos en su capacidad permeable, contextualizados en un marco local habilitante de variaciones propias, sintácticas y de sentido. En esta línea, la capacidad sígnica de imágenes y manifestaciones artísticas es la clave que permite dimensionar el caudal de “adaptabilidad” –potencial y latente– que estas poseen (Escobar, 2021). Además, las presentes reflexiones consideran en sus interpretaciones lo propuesto por Ruiz y Triquell (2017), quienes se basan en la existencia material de las imágenes y en su gran eficacia en la disputa por la imposición de sentidos, al concebirlas como índices, entendiendo a estos en su particular relación con la realidad desde el punto de vista de sus efectos y recepción.
