In order to do this, a proposal of selection and sequencing of contents taking the historical perspective and students’ ideas as referents is presented. En este trabajo, se realiza un estudio de la evolución del conocimiento sobre la nutrición vegetal teniendo en cuenta su importancia biológica y la dificultad que encierra su comprensión para los estudiantes de enseñanza obligatoria para ello se presenta una propuesta de selección y secuenciación de contenidos tomando como referentes la perspectiva histórica y las ideas de los alumnos.
