The purpose of this presentation is to provide a frame of reference to reflect on an alternative for the teaching of science that is coherent with the current curricular requirements for this level. Este trabajo se realiza en el marco de un proyecto de investigación en la UNC. Presenta una propuesta de enseñanza para las ciencias naturales de nivel primario. La misma articula a un modelo didáctico específico, una estrategia de interacción comunicativa coherente con el mismo. Se muestra, además, un ejemplo concreto para ser llevado al aula sobre algunos contenidos de Biología. El propósito de esta presentación es brindar un marco de referencia para reflexionar sobre una alternativa para la enseñanza de las ciencias coherente con las exigencias curriculares actuales para este nivel.
