From the review of the experience, “Memories in dialogue: A collective conversation for the construction of peace in Medellín”, it delves on how to understand the notion of historical memory, field of relatively recent development in Colombia and has taken relevance from the need to consolidate the approach of the report on the armed conflict that has affected the country for more than 60 years. Here we propose a notion of memory diverse, the product of a collective construction and territorial, with a clear political purpose that contributes to the communities to process the painful events and catastrophic that they have gone through. This proposal, far from bounded to the colombian case, it is proposed to rebuild from the boarding community a unique way to understand a field in tension as is the field of Memory. A partir de la revisión de la experiencia “Memorias en diálogo: Una conversación colectiva por la construcción de paz en Medellín”[1], se busca aportar a la discusión en torno la noción de memoria histórica, campo de relativamente reciente desarrollo en Colombia y que ha tomado relevancia a partir de la necesidad de consolidar el abordaje de la Memoria sobre el conflicto armado que ha afectado al país por más de 60 años. Aquí se propone una noción de memoria diversa, producto de una construcción colectiva y territorial, con clara finalidad política que contribuye a que las comunidades procesen los eventos dolorosos y catastróficos que han atravesado. Esta propuesta, lejos de acotarse al caso colombiano, se propone reconstruir desde el abordaje comunitario una manera singular de comprender un terreno en tensión como es el campo de la Memoria.   [1] Memorias en Diálogo: Una conversación colectiva por la construcción de paz en Medellín es una iniciativa del Museo Casas de la Memoria de la Ciudad de Medellín, que, en el contexto de las negociaciones de paz en La Habana entre el Gobierno Nacional y la guerrilla de las FARC, entiende la necesidad de promover espacios de construcción colectiva de la memoria sobre el conflicto armado mediante la promoción del diálogo en las comunidades más afectadas por el conflicto en la Ciudad (Comunas 1,6,8 y 13) y en diferentes niveles: entre comunidades y diversos sectores institucionales, entre las mismas organizaciones de las comunidades, entre estas comunidades y otros sectores de la población. Dicha propuesta consta de una serie de talleres liderados por organizaciones de estas Comunas, donde se convoca a las/os vecinos para reconstruir la historia de sus barrios y particularmente la memoria en torno al conflicto armado.
