Work and energy aspects are also considered. Los conceptos mecánicos involucrados en una actividad tan cotidiana como el caminar, pueden resultar un buen ejemplo en la enseñanza de la Física básica.Se discuten los conceptos de rozamiento presentes, la influencia del tipo de calzado, la inclinación del terreno y otros factores. Se analizan los conceptos de torques y variación de momento angular total de sistemas de partículas que conducen al balanceo de los brazos, teniendo en cuenta además su comportamiento como osciladores forzados. Se estudia la estabilidad. Se consideran los trabajos y variaciones energéticas en juego.
