En este trabajo se presentan someramente algunas consideraciones acerca de los videojuegos con fines educa-tivos. Tomando algunas cuestiones clave sobre el uso de videojuegos en el aula de ciencias como ejes, se des-criben algunos lugares comunes emergentes de una revisión bibliográfica de publicaciones sobre el tema. El último eje desarrollado refiere a aspectos metodológicos a tener en cuenta para ampliar la investigación sobre el impacto de los videojuegos en el aprendizaje.
