Therefore, the present research responds to the perception of the study carried out in the first quarter of 2020, to the students of the UNED, of the careers: Teaching of Natural Sciences, Management of Natural Resources and Industrial Engineering, and the use by the students of the Moodle platform, for the use of the Remote Laboratory, and with it to carry out its educational practices, as an educational complement in the enrolled courses. In the teaching-learning process in this “new normal way of living”, it requires substantive contributions so that educational development adjusts to new changes, safeguarding standards of quality, relevance and inclusiveness. Therefore, this study allows us to know the degree of utility that Remote Laboratories currently represent for students. Debido a la emergencia global por causa del COVID-19, se hizo necesario por parte de los profesores de la Universidad Estatal a Distancia (UNED), de Costa Rica incorporar en el proceso de enseñanza aprendizajes de los estudiantes, más trabajo virtual que permita que el proceso educativo sea eficaz y responda a los objetivos y metas propuestos, en tiempos de aislamiento social. Por consiguiente, la presente investigación responde al estudio realizado en el primer cuatrimestre 2020, a los estudiantes de la UNED, de las carreras: Enseñanza de las Ciencias Naturales, Manejo de Recursos Naturales e Ingeniería Industrial y la utilización por parte de los educandos de la plataforma Moodle, para la utilización del Laboratorio Remoto de la universidad y con ello realizar sus prácticas educativas, como complemento educativo en los cursos matriculados. En el proceso de enseñanza- apren-dizaje en esta “nueva normalidad”, requiere aportes sustantivos para que el desarrollo educativo se ajuste a nuevos cambios, salvaguardando los estándares de calidad, pertinencia e inclusividad. Razón por la cual el presente estudio permite conocer el grado de utilidad que los Laboratorios Remotos representan en la actualidad para los estudiantes.
