| Sumario: | This work study the conceptual learning that can be obtained in a general physics course that includes practically all the main topics of classical physics. The conceptual learning outputs on a course designed upon the active learning principles and teaching strategies have been evaluated through the application of research-based multiple-choice tests. Results suggest that a satisfac-tory degree of conceptual learning can be obtained in almost all evaluated physics subjects, comparable with learnings obtained in more extended courses also based upon active learning pedagogies, and higher than learnings obtained in similar courses that followed teacher-centered pedagogies. Some learning failures have been identified and suggestions for their treatment are included. |
