Evolution diagrams are presented as a methodological instrument for analyzing and visualizing results. The evolution diagrams show initial and arrival categories of the conceptions of teachers, who participated in a teaching-learning sequence based on the discussion of classic models of waves and particles, their validity limits and each one's contributions to the current model of structure of matter, in which there is no talk of waves, not particles, but of characteristics different from those of classical physics. Este estudio muestra los cambios de concepciones sobre el concepto de dualidad en física cuántica en un grupo de docentes, antes y después de un curso de capacitación. Se presentan diagramas de evolución como instrumento metodológico para analizar y visualizar resultados. Los diagramas de evolución muestran categorías iniciales y de llegada de las concepciones de los profesores, que participaron de una secuencia de enseñanza-aprendizaje basada en la discusión de los modelos clásicos de ondas y partículas, de sus límites de validez y de las contribuciones de cada uno al modelo actual de estructura de la materia, en que no se habla de ondas, ni partículas, sino de características diferentes a las de la física clásica.
