There is a special interest in checking whether there is a tendency in Physics for a specialized approach to this Knowledge Base. The period studied was 2001-2018 and the databases consulted were: the Theses and Dissertations CAPES’ Bank, international and national journals of Science and Physics for teaching, 33 studies were identified. The Shulman typology, with a generic approach, predominates among the studies, but recently there has been an increase in the use of specif-ic models for Sciences and Physics teachers, which may suggest a trend towards the adoption of specialization in these re-searches. Este Estado da Arte concentra-se nos estudos sobre a Base de Conhecimento de professores de Física, para descrever suas prin-cipais características, assim como avaliar possíveis tendências. Há especial interesse em verificar se há na Física tendência a uma abordagem especializada desta Base de Conhecimento. A janela temporal estabelecida foi entre 2001 e 2018 e os bancos de dados consultados foram: o Banco de Teses e Dissertações da CAPES, periódicos internacionais e nacionais de ensino de Ciências e Física, identificou-se 33 estudos. A base teórica predominante é a tipologia de Shulman, de abordagem genérica, porém nos últimos anos observou-se incremento no uso de modelos específicos para Ciências e Física, o que pode sugerir uma tendência à adoção da especialização nestas pesquisas.
