Variabilidad y formas de abordajes desde los estudios líticos y del paisaje en Argentina Bobillo, Federico Sario, Gisela Colombo, Mariano Salgán, María Laura Archaeology Lithic Querries Arqueología Lítico Canteras Studies on rock extraction sites have been of great importance for understanding the dynamics of societies, especially hunter-gatherer societies, within the framework of the territories they inhabited. In this sense, the areas with availability of lithic resources present a diverse and complex archaeological record that accounts for multiple social practices. These range from technological operations linked to the extraction of raw materials, the processing of resources and products, the manufacturing of instruments and/or their final disposal, to actions that are related to the logistics of people, the organization of work, the use of space and factors of a symbolic and/or ideological nature. In other words, these are places that bring together various techno-economic and social behaviors; spaces loaded with a particular significance where numerous knowledge, worldviews and ways of living were deployed over time. Its analysis and approaches are multiple, both from a theoretical and methodological point of view, and currently, its study is unquestionable, despite the problems of palimpsest, the difficulties in knowing the temporality of the events of obtaining rocks and the reconstruction of the dynamics of the environments where the outcrops are located. Los estudios sobre los sitios de obtención de rocas han resultado de gran importancia para comprender la dinámica de las sociedades, especialmente las cazadoras y recolectoras, en el marco de los territorios que habitaron. En este sentido, las áreas con disponibilidad de recursos líticos presentan un registro arqueológico diverso y complejo que da cuenta de múltiples prácticas sociales. Estas abarcan desde operaciones tecnológicas vinculadas con la extracción de la materia prima, el procesamiento de recursos y productos, la manufactura de instrumentos y/o su descarte final, hasta acciones que se relacionan con la logística de las personas, la organización del trabajo, el uso del espacio y factores de índole simbólico y/o ideológico. En otras palabras, se trata de lugares que reúnen diversos comportamientos tecno-económicos y sociales; espacios cargados de una particular significación donde se desplegaron numerosos conocimientos, cosmovisiones y modos de habitar a través del tiempo. Su análisis y formas de abordaje son múltiples, tanto desde el punto de vista teórico como metodológico y, en la actualidad, resulta incuestionable su estudio, pese a los problemas de palimpsesto, las dificultades para conocer la temporalidad de los eventos de obtención de rocas y a la reconstrucción de la dinámica de los ambientes donde se encuentran emplazados los afloramientos.
