The scheme I follow is this: in the first moment (sections 2 and 3) of a purely expository nature, I present the two “turns”, maintaining circulation as the common thread.  In the second moment (section 4) I interpret them, proposing the circulation of scientific knowledge as the foundation of the supra-individual (if you will, collective) nature of scientific activity, while proposing a (generic) methodological scheme to study circulation in the sciences. El propósito de este de trabajo es presentar algunos “giros” (el transnacional y el espacial) que surgieron en el contexto de crítica a la historiografía tradicional de la ciencia; enfoques vertebrados por la idea de circulación que, dicho sea de paso, se ha convertido en un recurso de análisis al mostrar cómo la ciencia ha sido un proceso en donde científicos de diversas latitudes han participado en un proceso global de circulación de los conocimientos científicos. El esquema que sigo es el siguiente: en un primer momento (los apartados 2 y 3) de naturaleza puramente descriptiva, presento los dos giros manteniendo como hilo conductor a la circulación. En el segundo momento (apartado 4) los interpreto, proponiendo a la circulación de los conocimientos científicos como el fundamento de la naturaleza supraindividual (si se quiere, colectiva) de la actividad científica, al tiempo que propongo un esquema metodológico (genérico) para estudiar la circulación en las ciencias.
