| Sumario: | This work deals with the urban middle sectors in Cordoba society in the first half of the 17th century. Specifically, it seeks to approach the analysis of the social mobility of these sectors from the study of the family trajectories of certain members of the artisan collective. Trajectories that show that it is possible to register many of them in that continuum of intermediate situations that operated between the two social extremes of the time, such as the encomendera elite, on the one hand, and the entrusted indians and slaves, on the other. |
