This publication is evidence of a meritorious concern for the advancement of science and the recognition of its eminent scholars, which is traditional in the different governments that have governed the destinies of the great province, as they did the same in due time with the monumental work of Florentino Ameghino -another of its illustrious sons- widely disseminated thanks to such a well understood generosity. El gobierno de la provincia de Buenos Aires editó recientemente las obras completas del malogrado y talentoso naturalista argentino Lucas Kraglievich. Con esta publicación se pone en evidencia una meritoria preocupación por el adelanto de las ciencias y el reconocimiento de sus cultores eminentes que es tradicional en los distintos gobiernos que han regido los destinos de la gran provincia, ya que lo mismo hicieron oportunamente con la monumental obra de Florentino Ameghino -otro de sus hijos preclaros- ampliamente difundida merced a tan bien entendida generosidad.
