The thesis is entitled "Discontinuities in school time in secondary education. An investigation on the presences and absences in the schooling of the new generations".  In this paper I will focus on the normative regulations about absenteeism and non-attendance through the redefinition of the academic regime. I will focus on the two regulations that continue to intervene on absenteeism in the province of Cordoba, in order to problematise the typology of justified and unjustified absences. I then analyse the ways in which absences are regulated in the two schools investigated through reinstatements and justifications. Finally, this development allows us to reflect on the relationships between attendance, inequality and normative and pedagogical interventions on absenteeism in secondary education, recognising the achievements and pending challenges in the process of institutionalisation of compulsory schooling and democratisation of secondary education. Keywords: absenteeism - secondary education - academic regime - (un)excused absences - reincorporations En este texto, se presentan algunos de los resultados de la investigación de doctorado en Ciencias de la Educación (Facultad de Filosofía y Humanidades, Universidad Nacional de Córdoba) desarrollada entre el 2018 y el 2022, en la que se buscó estudiar la discontinuidad escolar a través del ausentismo de lxs estudiantes en dos escuelas secundarias de la ciudad de Córdoba. La tesis se titula Discontinuidades en el tiempo escolar de la educación secundaria. Una investigación sobre las presencias y ausencias en la escolarización de las nuevas generaciones.  En este trabajo, me enfocaré en las regulaciones normativas acerca del ausentismo y las inasistencias a través de la redefinición del régimen académico. Me centraré en abordar las dos normativas que aún siguen interviniendo sobre el ausentismo en la provincia de Córdoba, para problematizar sobre la tipología dispuesta para las inasistencias como justificadas e injustificadas. Luego analizaré, en las dos escuelas investigadas, los modos en que regulan las ausencias a través de las reincorporaciones y las justificaciones. Este desarrollo permite finalmente, reflexionar sobre las relaciones entre presencialidad, desigualdad e intervenciones normativas y pedagógicas sobre el ausentismo en la educación secundaria, reconociendo los logros y los desafíos pendientes en el proceso de institucionalización de la obligatoriedad escolar y de democratización de la educación secundaria.  Palabras clave: ausentismo – educación secundaria – régimen académico – inasistencias (in)justificadas - reincorporaciones Este texto apresenta alguns dos resultados da pesquisa de doutorado em Ciências da Educação (Faculdade de Filosofia e Ciências Humanas, UNC) desenvolvida entre 2018 e 2022, que buscou estudar a descontinuidade escolar por meio do absenteísmo dos alunos em duas escolas secundárias da cidade de Córdoba. A tese é intitulada "Descontinuidades no tempo escolar no ensino médio. Uma investigação sobre as presenças e ausências na escolarização das novas gerações".  Neste trabalho, vou me concentrar nos regulamentos normativos sobre absenteísmo e não comparecimento por meio da redefinição do regime acadêmico. Vou me concentrar nos dois regulamentos que continuam a intervir no absenteísmo na província de Córdoba, a fim de problematizar a tipologia de ausências justificadas e injustificadas. Em seguida, analiso as maneiras pelas quais as ausências são reguladas nas duas escolas investigadas por meio de reintegrações e justificativas. Por fim, esse desenvolvimento nos permite refletir sobre as relações entre frequência, desigualdade e intervenções normativas e pedagógicas sobre o absenteísmo no ensino médio, reconhecendo as conquistas e os desafios pendentes no processo de institucionalização da escolaridade obrigatória e democratização do ensino médio.
