Such is the case of the Latin American revolutionary epic of the sixties, which is built around the figure of Guevara's new man. After emphasizing the ability of a body to affect and be affected, this article seeks to analyze the way in which the Argentine writer Alberto Szpunberg (1940-2020) develops in El che amor (1965) a poetics capable of affecting the legitimate circulation of emotions of guerrilla masculinity from embodied performances. La articulación del afecto y el género como categorías de la crítica habilitan lecturas disruptivas que ponen en jaque las construcciones discursivas en torno a ciertos entramados culturales canonizados. Tal es el caso de la épica revolucionaria latinoamericana de los sesentas, que se erige alrededor de la figura del Hombre Nuevo guevariano. Tras poner el acento en la capacidad que tiene un cuerpo de afectar y ser afectado, este artículo busca analizar el modo en el que el escritor argentino Alberto Szpunberg (1940-2020) construye en El che amor (1965) una poética capaz de afectar la circulación legítima de las emociones de la masculinidad guerrillera a partir de performances corporeizadas. A articulação de afeto e gênero como categorias de crítica permite leituras perturbadoras que desafiam as construções discursivas em torno de certas estruturas culturais canonizadas. É o caso do épico revolucionário latino-americano dos anos 60, que é construído em torno da figura do Homem Novo Guevariano. Depois de enfatizar a capacidade de um corpo de afetar e ser afetado, este artigo procura analisar a forma como o escritor argentino Alberto Szpunberg (1940-2020) constrói em El che amor (1965) uma poética capaz de afetar a circulação legítima das emoções da masculinidade guerrilheira através de performances corporificadas.
