The pandemic has aggravated the existing gap between men and women in scientific production and citation. In this paper we attempt to reconstruct the state of the situation through scientific and popularization journals, information portals and documents from governmental and non-governmental organizations. Starting from the structural dimension of the problem linked to the cis-heteropatriarchal system at both international and local levels, we will investigate what has happened to gender inequality in scientific production during the pandemic. In this context, we will attempt to make a diagnosis of the situation and examine specific institutional policies that will allow us to reflect on possible ways to prevent the gender gap in the production of knowledge from continuing to widen. We also warn about the need to consider long-term measures aimed at ensuring that the consequences of the pandemic do not mean a postponement of women's careers that would lead in the future to an even greater reduction in the low percentage of women scientists and academics in the highest positions of the Scientific Researcher Career and in senior university teaching and management positions. |

La pandemia ha agravado la brecha existente entre varones y mujeres en la producción y en la citación científica. Procuramos en este trabajo reconstruir el estado de la situación a través de revistas científicas y de divulgación, de portales de información y de documentos de organizaciones gubernamentales y no gubernamentales. Partiendo de la dimensión estructural de la problemática vinculada al sistema cis-heteropatriarcal tanto a nivel internacional como local, indagaremos en lo que ha sucedido con la desigualdad de género en la producción científica durante la pandemia. En este contexto, procuramos realizar un diagnóstico de la situación y examinaremos políticas institucionales concretas que nos permitirán reflexionar sobre posibles formas para evitar que la brecha de género en la producción de conocimiento continúe ahondándose. Asimismo, advertimos sobre la necesaria consideración de medidas a largo plazo orientadas a asegurar que las consecuencias de la pandemia no signifiquen una postergación de las carreras de las mujeres que conlleve en el futuro una reducción aún mayor del bajo porcentaje de científicas y académicas en los cargos más elevados de la Carrera de Investigador Científico y en los cargos superiores de docencia y de gestión universitarios. A pandemia agravou a lacuna existente entre homens e mulheres na produção científica e na citação. Neste documento, tentamos reconstruir o estado da situação através de revistas científicas e populares, portais de informação e documentos de organizações governamentais e não governamentais. Partindo da dimensão estrutural do problema ligado ao sistema cis-heteropatriarcal tanto em nível internacional quanto local, investigaremos o que aconteceu com a desigualdade de gênero na produção científica durante a pandemia. Neste contexto, procuramos diagnosticar a situação e examinar políticas institucionais específicas que nos permitirão refletir sobre possíveis maneiras de evitar que a lacuna de gênero na produção de conhecimento continue a se ampliar. Também alertamos para a necessidade de considerar medidas de longo prazo para garantir que as conseqüências da pandemia não resultem no adiamento da carreira das mulheres, levando no futuro a uma redução ainda maior da baixa porcentagem de mulheres cientistas e acadêmicas nos cargos mais altos da Carreira de Pesquisa Científica e em cargos de docência e administração de universidades.
