En el ensayo se indaga en qué medida los requerimientos de objetividad en la justificación de las decisiones judiciales son satisfechos por la teoría de las satisfacciones compensatorias que consagra el artículo 1741 del Código Civil y Comercial para la cuantificación del daño extrapatrimonial. Dado que, creemos, resultan insuficientes, se propone una solución alternativa.
