| Sumario: | Despite the expansion that the social and solidarity economy experienced in recent years in Argentina, at the national level there is still no specific legal framework that contemplates the different expressions that make up the sector. In this context, some provincial states tried to advance, within their respective jurisdictions, in the legal regulation of the social and solidarity sphere. Considering this, in this article we try to characterize the bill concerning the “Creation of the Social and Popular Economy Council” in the province of Catamarca, which has already obtained half-approval. The study allows us to notice that this bill has an introductory meaning towards the configuration of a broader legal framework, and although it is close to the normative experiences of other provinces, presents contents and guidelines that give it its own mark that distinguishes them. To carry out this analysis, we deployed a methodological approach that incorporates the examination of the files referring to both the bill under study and its antecedents. |
