The task is carried out manually, where common sense, experience, certain criteria of the employees and many hours of work, allows reaching an alternative not always satisfactory for all the parts involved.The objective is to present a structuring of the problem of allocation of classrooms in the FCE -UNCPBA from the implementation of a tool that allows us to identify and model the different perceptions of the stakeholders of the situation.In this case we used interviews as a tool for collecting information and the methodology SODA -Strategic Options Development and Analysis - to arrive at a definition of the problem by identifying the goal and the first actions. In a second work will be presented the advanced analysis of the results achieved in this first part. La Facultad de Ciencias Económicas de la Universidad Nacional del Centro de la Provincia de Buenos Aires - FCE-UNCPBA- enfrenta todos los cuatrimestres de los años académicos, la dificultad de asignar aulas a grupos de alumnos y respectivos profesores, pertenecientes a diferentes materias de dos carreras universitarias. Dicha tarea se lleva a cabo en forma manual, donde el sentido común, la experiencia, ciertos criterios de las empleadas y numerosas horas de trabajo, permiten arribar a una alternativa no siempre satisfactoria para las partes involucradas.El objetivo es presentar una estructuración del problema de asignación de aulas en la FCE –UNCPBA a partir de la aplicación de una herramienta que permita identificar y modelar las diferentes percepciones de los interesados de la situación planteada.En el presente caso se utiliza la entrevista como instrumento de recolección de información y la metodología SODA -Strategic Options Development and Analysis- para arribar a una definición del problema identificando el objetivo y las primeras acciones. En un segundo trabajo se presentará el análisis avanzado del resultado alcanzado en esta primera parte.
