Methodology: We conducted a prospective, descriptive, and observational study using a questionnaire to assess satisfaction of liver transplant patients. An individual, anonymous, semi-structured, and self-administered survey was employed, evaluating patient satisfaction across five areas: staff care, hospital organization, inpatient facilities, quality of services provided, and respect for privacy, confidentiality, and care continuity. The survey included affirmative statements with Likert-type responses. Results: We analyzed 79 responses from 86 transplanted patients (response rate: 91.86%). Just over half of the sample were men (45; 56.96%), with an average age of 48.61 ± 11.61 years (range: 24-69). A total of 81.01% received care quality exceeding their expectations. Moreover, 72.15% reported better health than upon hospital admission, and nearly all participants (98.74%, 78) reported satisfaction with the care received during this period. Conclusion: Our findings indicate a high level of satisfaction regarding care received post-liver transplantation.

Introducción: Las políticas sanitarias para mejorar la salud de la población a menudo se han centrado exclusivamente en el acceso a los servicios sanitarios básicos, en detrimento de la calidad de atención. La evaluación de la calidad de atención en trasplante hepático es esencial para el control y satisfacción de las necesidades sanitarias. El objetivo del trabajo es conocer y explorar la satisfacción del paciente con respecto a su atención durante la fase de hospitalización posterior al trasplante de hígado. Metodología: Realizamos un estudio prospectivo, descriptivo y observacional, utilizando un cuestionario para explorar la satisfacción de pacientes trasplantados de hígado. Se utilizó una encuesta individual, anónima, semiestructurada y autoadministrada. La encuesta evaluó la satisfacción del paciente en 5 áreas: atención del personal, organización hospitalaria, instalaciones del internado, calidad de los servicios brindados y respeto a la privacidad, confidencialidad y transferencia de cuidados. El instrumento de evaluación incluyó enunciados afirmativos con respuesta tipo likert. Resultados: Analizamos 79 respuestas entre 86 pacientes trasplantados (tasa de respuesta 91,86%). Poco más de la mitad de la muestra eran hombres (45; 56,96%). La edad promedio fue de 48,61 ± 11,61 años (rango 24-69). El 81,01% recibió una calidad de atención mejor de lo que esperaba. El 72,15% refirió encontrarse en mejor estado de salud que al ingreso hospitalario. Casi la totalidad de la muestra (98,74%, 78) refirió estar satisfecha con la atención recibida durante este período. Conclusión: Nuestros hallazgos informaron un alto nivel de satisfacción con la atención recibida posterior al trasplante hepático. Introdução: As políticas de saúde para melhorar a saúde da população focaram, frequentemente, exclusivamente no acesso aos serviços básicos de saúde, em detrimento da qualidade dos cuidados. A avaliação da qualidade da assistência no transplante hepático é essencial para o controle e satisfação das necessidades de saúde. O objetivo do trabalho é conhecer e explorar a satisfação do paciente quanto ao seu atendimento durante a fase de internação após o transplante de fígado. Metodologia: Realizamos um estudo prospectivo, descritivo e observacional, utilizando um questionário para explorar a satisfação dos pacientes transplantados de fígado. Foi utilizada uma pesquisa individual, anônima, semiestruturada e autoaplicável. A pesquisa avaliou a satisfação do paciente em 5 áreas: atendimento da equipe, organização hospitalar, internato, qualidade dos serviços prestados e respeito à privacidade, confidencialidade e transferência de atendimento. O instrumento de avaliação incluiu afirmações afirmativas com resposta do tipo Likert. Resultados: Foram analisadas 79 respostas entre 86 pacientes transplantados (taxa de resposta de 91,86%). Pouco mais da metade da amostra eram homens (45; 56,96%). A idade média foi de 48,61 ± 11,61 anos (variação de 24 a 69). 81,01% receberam atendimento de melhor qualidade do que esperavam. 72,15% relataram estar em melhor estado de saúde do que quando foram internados no hospital. Quase a totalidade da amostra (98,74%, 78) relatou estar satisfeita com o atendimento recebido nesse período.
