In terms of a cultural semiotics, translation appears as a privileged category to evaluate these spaces of active dialogue that show the dynamism of art texts and the way in which they become semiotic customs for an adaptive elaboration. From this perspective, the complex text of Eloy Martínez offers multiple angles that, assembled in his narrative, translate the myth of Evita from a problematic that also seems to be a reiterative of North American TV series: the political construction of the female body. Our objective is to propose a provisional note to think about the semiotic functions that cross the distances between physical body and political body, around an "exceptional" female subject in recent narratives as House of Cards (2013) and The Crown (2016). Our hypothesis holds that these aesthetic routes seem to be paving the way for a new international translation of Eva Perón. In this sense, Santa Evita would be drawing symbolic lines that fit an idea of corporality and scenography of power that the contemporary political-aesthetic order puts into question. La reciente adquisición de los derechos de la novela Santa Evita (1995) por parte de FOX inaugura un escenario productivo para atender a ciertos desplazamientos de sentidos a nivel transcultural. En términos de una semiótica-cultural, la traducción aparece como una categoría privilegiada para evaluar estos espacios de diálogo activo que arrostran el dinamismo de los textos del arte y el modo en que devienen aduanas semióticas para una elaboración adaptativa. Desde esta perspectiva, el complejo texto de Eloy Martínez ofrece múltiples ángulos que, ensamblados en su narrativa, traducen el mito de Evita a partir de una problemática que también parece ser recurrente de las series de TV norteamericanas: la construcción política del cuerpo femenino. Nuestro objetivo radica en proponer un apunte provisorio para pensar las funciones semióticas que atraviesan, en narrativas recientes como House of Cards (2013) y The Crown (2016), las distancias entre cuerpo físico y cuerpo político de un sujeto femenino “excepcional”. Nuestra hipótesis de lectura sostiene que estos recorridos estéticos parecen estar abonando el terreno para interpelar una nueva traducción internacional de Eva Perón. En tal sentido, Santa Evita estaría trazando líneas simbólicas que se ajustan a una idea de corporalidad y de escenografía del poder que el orden político-estético contemporáneo pone en cuestión.
