To this end, using historical documentation and specific bibliography, we will trace military organization since late colonial times and then to focus on the organization of the period of interest and the analysis of the composition of military units formed. At this time, we do not intend to give a complete answer to what we ask, but to tackle the subject and suggest new lines of approach to the issue. El presente trabajo explora la organización militar de la jurisdicción de Córdoba entre los años 1810-1815, con la intención de comenzar a observar cómo se manifestó, en la región, el proceso de militarización de la denominada “Guerra de Independencia” y encontrar indicios sobre la participación política de los sectores subalternos locales en el periodo revolucionario. Para ello, utilizando documentación de época y bibliografía específica, rastrearemos la organización militar desde fines de los tiempos coloniales para luego centrarnos en la organización del periodo temporal de interés y el análisis de la composición de las unidades militares formadas. En esta oportunidad, no pretendemos dar una respuesta total a nuestros planteos sino acercarnos a la temática y plantear nuevas líneas de abordaje. Facultad de Filosofía y Humanidades.
