Together with other documents, the article mainly uses a corpus of sources consisting of news and writings from the party political press during the period under consideration. The conclusions affirm the relevance that youth acquired in the party's discourse and organization, which, although it was part of a previous tradition, was renewed within the framework of electoral strategies and policies implemented by the UCR following the electoral reform of 1912 and access to national government. Finally, through the case studied, the conclusions raise broader questions that help to reflect on the historical configuration of youth in the first decades of the 20th century. El artículo analiza las representaciones sobre la juventud elaboradas por la Unión Cívica Radical (UCR) y reconstruye una serie de acciones y medidas dirigidas hacia ese sector durante la primera presidencia de Hipólito Yrigoyen (1916-1922). Junto a otros documentos, se recurre principalmente a un corpus de fuentes compuesto por noticias y escritos de la prensa política partidaria en el periodo considerado. Las conclusiones afirman la relevancia que adquirieron las juventudes en el discurso y la organización del partido, la cual, si bien se inscribía dentro de una tradición previa, se renovaba en el marco de las estrategias electorales y las políticas implementadas por la UCR a partir de la reforma electoral de 1912 y del acceso al gobierno nacional. Finalmente, a través del caso estudiado, las conclusiones plantean interrogantes más amplios que ayudan a reflexionar sobre la configuración histórica de las juventudes en las primeras décadas del siglo XX.
