Within these topics, historiography has looked incompletely to three Cubans who traveled through the Land of the Soviets between 1927 and 1932: Julio Antonio Mella, Sergio Carbó and Rubén Martínez Villena. Our work proposes to study, using the frames of Intellectual history, the ways in which they recounted the experience of the trip, and comparatively explores the texts of each of them, their clichés, and what they were looking in the Soviet Union that would help them to understand his native country. Después de la Revolución Rusa de 1917 muchos viajeros de todo el mundo visitaron la Unión Soviética. Al respecto, la historiografía ha mirado de forma incompleta a tres cubanos que viajaron a través del país de los Soviets entre 1927 y 1932: Julio Antonio Mella, Sergio Carbó y Rubén Martínez Villena. Nos proponemos estudiar, utilizando los marcos de la historia intelectual, las formas en que se relató la experiencia del viaje, explorando comparativamente los textos de cada uno de ellos, sus clichés y aquello que buscaron en la Unión Soviética que les sería útil para entender a su país natal.
