The current article will analyze the articles written by Vasconcelos for the Buenos Airesnewspaper Crítica. The objective is analyzing the ideological changes experienced by Vasconcelos during this period of his life which are reflected in the articles mentioned above. Through these articles Vasconcelos emphasizes the Hispanic values and the dichotomy between the Hispanic and the Anglo-saxon cultures, as well as reflecting a growing concern about the Hispanic American nation as envisioned by him. Lastly he expresses his disappointment with the development of the Mexican Revolution that will evolve in views close to fascism. Entre 1933 y 1935 José Vasconcelos, ex ministro del gobierno de Álvaro Obregón durante la década de 1920 en México, estuvo exiliado en la Argentina después de haber sufrido una derrota electoral en 1929. El presente trabajo busca analizar la producción periodística de Vasconcelos en la Argentina, principalmente en el diario Crítica. Nos proponemos analizar el viraje ideológico experimentado por Vasconcelos en estos años, el cual queda reflejado en los artículos aquí abordados. Los temas que emergen de estos artículos: la valorización del legado hispánico, el eje dicotómico hispanidad versus sajonismo, la cuestión de la nación hispanoamericana y por último la decepción y desesperación con respecto al rumbo tomado por la Revolución en México, muestran un punto de inflexión en su pensamiento que posteriormente derivaría en posiciones cercanas al fascismo. Como se ha señalado anteriormente este trabajo pretende ser tan sólo una breve presentación de algunos de los artículos publicados por Vasconcelos en el diario Crítica de Buenos Aires, y hasta el momento no compilados.
