The writing focuses on the visual and sound aspects of the production of the film, it is proposed to account for the non-linear, dialectical and spiral nature of the process of artistic creation. For that, it describes and establishes relationships between the different formal decisions that the work team was taking throughout the production process. Decisions that often do not follow a logical order in time, but are taken arbitrarily to find their justification in later stages. El texto aborda el proceso creativo de Cucaracha, un cortometraje de ficción realizado con la técnica de stop-motion. El escrito hace foco en los aspectos visuales y sonoros de la producción del film y se propone dar cuenta del carácter no lineal, dialéctico y espiralado del proceso de creación de un objeto artístico. Para ello describe y traza relaciones entre las distintas decisiones formales que el equipo de trabajo fue tomando a lo largo del proceso de producción. Decisiones que muchas veces no siguen un orden lógico en el tiempo, sino que se toman de manera arbitraria para encontrar su justificación en etapas posteriores.
