And finally, the rigid hysteria is maintainedwithout this reference, there is no symptom in the fourth knot mode either but the phallus appears as atestimony of the real. Here it is the realization of the repetition in the real that crystallizes the structureand holds the records. If we do not have the resource of the knots for the reading of these clinicalmanifestations, we get entangled in imaginary debates. Reading a case with the knots serves to locatethe structure in its uniqueness. La histeria clásica, la locura histérica y la histeria rígida hacen estallar la dicotomía neurosis-psicosis. La histeria clásica sostiene el cuerpo en la armadura del amor al padre, lo que le permite defenderse de las irrupciones de goce. La locura histérica puede servirse de la armadura del amor al padre, pero su nudo da cuenta que frente al acontecimiento traumático sus registros pueden soltarse e independizarse uno de otro, haciendo emerger en el sujeto defensas alucinatorias, delirantes, paranoides. Y finalmente, la histeria rígida se sostiene sin esta referencia, no hay un sinthoma al modo de cuarto nudo, sino que aparece el falo como testimonio de lo real. Aquí es la realización propia de la repetición en lo real lo que cristaliza la estructura y sostiene los registros. Si no se contara con el recurso de los nudos para la lectura de estas manifestaciones clínicas, nos enredamos en debates imaginarios.
