It deepens, throughout the writing, about the landscape concept, its evolution over time and describes the way in which the research proposes to find the connection between landscape and planning through objectives, assumptions, methodology and the theoretical framework designed to address the problem. The purpose of the article is focused on contributing to the knowledge of the implications of this modality for territorial planning. Este artículo procura sintetizar el abordaje de una investigación que busca encontrar las conexiones entre paisaje y planificación subyacentes en su base empírica, constituida por un tándem de casos localizados en la Provincia de Salta en el período 2002-2018. A lo largo del escrito, se profundiza sobre el concepto paisaje, su evolución a través del tiempo y se indica el modo en que la investigación propone encontrar las conexiones entre paisaje y planificación, a través de los objetivos, supuestos, metodología y marco teórico diseñados para el abordaje de la problemática. El propósito del artículo se centra en aportar al conocimiento de las implicancias de esta modalidad en la planificación territorial.
