Theepistemological vision of humans-with-media is presented. According to such vision a central role is assigned to media for the production of knowledge. The connection between technologies and the production of mathematical knowledge and the relation between technologies and mathematics education are discussed. Finally a reference is made to pedagogical approaches in mathematical classrooms which are resonant with new technologies. An example of a mathematical activity developed in a learning environment with an experimental-technology approach is presented and analyzed. En este artículo se realizan consideraciones y reflexiones en relación a la presencia de tecnologías en el ámbito educativo, haciendo foco en la educación matemática. Se hace mención a la aparente inmutabilidad de la escuela frente a los avances tecnológicos, el reconocimiento de su importancia desde los diseños curriculares provinciales y las políticas de inclusión digital promovidas desde el estado. Se presenta, como visión epistemológica, la noción de humanas-conmedios como unidad epistémica que reconoce el papel central de los medios en la producción del conocimiento. Se discute el vínculo entre tecnologías y producción del conocimiento matemático y la relación entre tecnologías y  educación matemática. Finalmente se hace referencia a abordajes pedagógicos que están en sintonía con la presencia de nuevas tecnologías en las clases de matemática. Se presenta y analiza un ejemplo de actividad matemática en un ambiente de aprendizaje con un abordaje experimental-con-tecnología.
