To achieve this, it examines the Spanish political and cultural context, particularly regenerationism, institutionism, and Americanism ideas movement. Through the study of certain publishing houses and key figures in institutionist sociability connected to the publishing industry, the article demonstrates how a cultural project, driven by a network of sociability, facilitated the publication and circulation of the most modern works in these disciplines among Spanish-speaking readers on both sides of the Atlantic. En este artículo se indaga sobre la industria editorial española de principios del siglo XX, con el objetivo de conocer los factores que hicieron posible la circulación de la literatura más moderna sobre educación y pedagogía en el mundo de habla hispana. Para esto, se indaga sobre el contexto político y cultural español, y en especial en el regeneracionismo, el institucionismo y el americanismo. A partir del estudio de algunas casas editoriales y de figuras de la sociabilidad institucionista vinculadas con la industria editorial, el artículo muestra cómo hubo un proyecto cultural, impulsado por una red de sociabilidad, que posibilitó la publicación y circulación de las obras más modernas de esas disciplinas entre el público lector en español a ambos lados del Atlántico.
