Sumario:This article explores the Spanish publishing industry in the early 20th century, aiming to understand the factors that enabled the circulation of the most modern literature on education and pedagogy in the Spanish-speaking world. To achieve this, it examines the Spanish political and cultural context, particularly regenerationism, institutionism, and Americanism ideas movement. Through the study of certain publishing houses and key figures in institutionist sociability connected to the publishing industry, the article demonstrates how a cultural project, driven by a network of sociability, facilitated the publication and circulation of the most modern works in these disciplines among Spanish-speaking readers on both sides of the Atlantic.
