The authors participated in research projects about different aspects of local government in the territories of the Diocese of Buenos Aires at the end of the colonial period. In addition, they have worked together a specific source: the visit of Bishop Lué y Riega, which constitutes another common aspect of this proposal. This document –that, in each article is articulated and confronted with other sources– contains valuable information on different aspects of the spiritual government, its devices, the parishes, and the different ways of interacting with other government agents. La sección especial que presentamos se compone de cuatro artículos que comparten distintas herramientas y trayectorias. Sus autoras y autores participaron de proyectos de investigación sobre distintos aspectos del gobierno local en los territorios de la diócesis de Buenos Aires a fines del periodo colonial. Además, han trabajado de manera mancomunada una fuente específica: la visita del obispo Lué y Riega que constituye otro denominador de la presente propuesta. Esta base documental compartida –que, en cada artículo se articula y confronta con otras fuentes– contiene información valiosa sobre distintos aspectos del gobierno espiritual, sus dispositivos, las feligresías, así como sobre sus formas de interactuar con otros agentes del gobierno. A secção especial que apresentamos é composta por quatro artigos que partilham diferentes ferramentas e trajetórias. Os seus autores participaram em projetos de investigação sobre diferentes aspetos do governo local nos territórios da diocese de Buenos Aires no final do período colonial. Além disso, trabalharam em conjunto numa fonte específica: a visita de Dom Lué y Riega, que constitui outro denominador desta proposta. Esta base documental partilhada – que, em cada artigo, é articulada e confrontada com outras fontes – contém informações valiosas sobre diferentes aspetos do governo espiritual, dos seus dispositivos, das paróquias, bem como sobre as suas formas de interação com outros agentes governamentais.
