| Sumario: | The special section contains four articles that share similar tools and trajectories. The authors participated in research projects about different aspects of local government in the territories of the Diocese of Buenos Aires at the end of the colonial period. In addition, they have worked together a specific source: the visit of Bishop Lué y Riega, which constitutes another common aspect of this proposal. This document –that, in each article is articulated and confronted with other sources– contains valuable information on different aspects of the spiritual government, its devices, the parishes, and the different ways of interacting with other government agents. |
