It also considers some links between the indigenisms of Rojas and Ernesto Quesada (who spread the cultural relativism of Oswald Spengler from the early 1920s). For both authors, the works of the archaeologist Arthur Posnansky in Tiahuanaco constitute a key element for legitimising pre-Columbian art as a source of inspiration in order to create a new American culture. Este artículo se centra en algunos ensayos de Ricardo Rojas, producidos en torno a la década del veinte, que postulan el ideal de una amalgama cultural indo-hispánica, para forjar una identidad cultural mestiza para el continente, o en los que se enfatiza la importancia del legado indígena, sobre todo en el campo del arte. Además, considera algunos puntos de contacto entre los indigenismos de Rojas y de Ernesto Quesada (quien, desde inicios de la década del veinte, difunde el relativismo cultural de Oswald Spengler).
