In this sense, I propose to present advances of a research in didactics of the social sciences that investigates the conceptions of students of the History Teachers about education for citizenship. Identifying, analyzing and re-debating this key purpose of teaching is a challenge when thinking about teacher education En las últimas décadas, diversas colectividades oprimidas históricamente han comenzado a ser visibilizadxs en la enseñanza de las Ciencias Sociales. Aun así, el imaginario escolar predominante todavía se construye desde la homogeneización, victimización y la ahistoricidad de las alteridades. Muchas veces, estos sujetos “ingresan a la historia” como víctimas, sin pasado, sin proyectos; en definitiva, sin historia.  Por tanto, resulta central pensar la formación ciudadana desde una perspectiva didáctica latinoamericanista y decolonial, tomando distancia de los enfoques excesivamente globales, reconociendo problemáticas específicas del contexto, que nos desafían a pensar otras prácticas de enseñanza. En tal sentido, me propongo presentar avances de una investigación en Didáctica de las Ciencias Sociales que indaga sobre las concepciones de estudiantes del Profesorado en Historia (FFyH-UNC) acerca de la educación para la ciudadanía.
