Sumario:In recent decades, various historically oppressed collectivities have begun to be made visible in the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, Argentina Therefore, it is essential to think about citizen education from a Latin American and decolonial didactic perspective, taking distance from excessively global approaches, recognizing specific problems of the context, which challenged us to think about other teaching practices. In this sense, I propose to present advances of a research in didactics of the social sciences that investigates the conceptions of students of the History Teachers about education for citizenship. Identifying, analyzing and re-debating this key purpose of teaching is a challenge when thinking about teacher education
